Our Goal

Our goal is to help all struggling families trying to make ends meet by soliciting, collecting, and packaging food for our food distribution through our Partner Agencies — Feeding South Florida, Target, and Amazon. Our services include boxed-food programs and emergency food help. Food distribution is held every 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on a first come, first serve basis. We also provide mental health counseling for families who have lost a loved one through gun violence.

Meet the Founder

Paula Wright

My mission is to educate the public and provide job training for those in need — giving individuals a second chance to improve, enhance, and maintain their employment skills to make a difference for themselves and their families.

Born in Guyana, South America, Paula Wright moved to the United States in 1969. A highly creative and results-driven nonprofit management professional, she founded Here's Help Workforce and Community Development Corporation in July 2012 to assist women who are victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.

Through partnership with the Department of Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Paula assists individuals with disabilities, senior citizens, and encourages peer mentoring. She brings 20 years of successful experience providing fiscal, strategic, and operational leadership — overseeing job training, food distribution, community events, and workforce development programs across Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

In 2014, Paula founded Magdalene Community Clinic, a primary care clinic dedicated to assisting people who cannot afford health insurance or access to a primary care doctor. She has also recently opened an Independent Living Facility to continue serving those in need.

Paula distributes food to the community every 2nd and 4th Saturday and provides clothing for employment purposes. She hosts the Annual Tea Party, with all proceeds going to assist women of domestic violence, human trafficking, and individuals with disabilities. She has also launched an Online Podcast to bring awareness to gun violence, domestic violence, and human trafficking.
